Question for Today

"Anyone can fight the battles of just one day. It is only when you and I add the burden of those two awful eternities, yesterday and tomorrow that we break down. It is not the experience of today that drives us mad. It is the remorse or bitterness for something that happened yesterday or the dread of what tomorrow may bring."

Question for today: "Am I living one day at a time?"

I have learned there's great satisfaction in just livng for the day I am in. It is a day God has given me. Yestereday I can't get back; and tomorrow is not guaranteed. Which leaves today - a day God has purposed for me to do something great in!

Hey Heat(her),
Thanks so much for stopping by. I actually found this quote and the wrote the post called "The Pop Quiz" that I just posted while thinking about the following...

After hearing your teaching on Seizing the Day. This verse will always have a special meaning to me:

"THIS is the day which the LORD has made; Let us rejoice and be glad in IT." ~ Psalm 118:24

I think of that message often, about how important it is to see, seize, live and treasure our todays.

I forget sometimes, but it is so great to remember!

Thank you.

peace, hope and love,

Lily
